An elderly man has been taken to hospital following a collision in Steynton this afternoon.
The fire service used small gear equipment to help release the drivers after two vehicles were involved in an incident opposite the Horse and Jockey on the A4076 just before 2pm.
A 4x4 type vehicle and a hatchback were involved and one hit a farm building.
First aid was provided for one driver while the other was taken to Withybush Hospital the ambulance service said.
Fire crews and the ambulance service were called at 1.55pm and Transco has been notified of concerns that a gas meter inside the building had been damaged.
A structural engineer has also been called and Pembrokeshire County Council has closed the nearby footpath at the request of the police and fire service.
The two fire engines, one from Milford Haven and one from Haverfordwest, left the scene at 2.40pm.
The road remains open but the vehicles have yet to be recovered.
