The mother of 14-yearold Seren Bernard, whose funeral was held on Monday, has thanked the community for all their support.
Seren was found dead on April 2nd in Milford Haven and her mother Sarah Pollock has called for more access to counselling services in order to avoid another family experiencing the pain she has suffered.
Sarah said: “I want to thank everyone for the support given, I’ve been totally overwhelmed.
“From the bottom of my heart, thank you. This is the only thing keeping me going, the support and people’s generosity.”
Seren who would have turned 15 next month, was in the care of social services at the time of her death.
Sarah wants answers as to how this could have happened to her daughter despite her continued requests for counselling and support.
Pembrokeshire County Council said the case had been referred to the Pembrokeshire Local Safeguarding Children’s Board and could not comment further at this time.
