A 19-year-old diver was airlifted from the Pembrokeshire coast yesterday (Sunday) with a suspected case of the bends.
Dale coastguard rescue team and the coastguard rescue helicopter were tasked to the slipway at Dale at around 2.20pm, following reports that the woman was complaining of dizziness.
She was airlifted to Poole and was discharged later that evening.
The coastguard rescue helicopter, one of only four in Britain, was tasked from Portland as it was the nearest available helicopter. The RAF rescue helicopters from Chivenor and Valley were already on rescue missions.
