Pembrokeshire is preparing to head to the polls next month with important votes to be made for community and county council seats.
There have been many changes in the county since the last election in 2008 and only time will tell if these are reflected at the ballot box on May 3.
There are 47 seats out of 60 up for grabs. As in 2008, there are 13 seats that are uncontested, with seats already guaranteed for Lib Dem Bob Kilmister in Dinas Cross, Simon Hancock in Neyland East, and Plaid’s Rhys Sinnett in Milford West.
This term’s deputy leader Jamie Adams, who faced no opposition in 2008, will also retake his Camrose seat unopposed.
A number of notable names have also decided not to stand in this election including Sian James in Fishguard North West and Leslie Raymond in Solva.
There are 36 county council candidates listed as Independent, four Lib Dems, 30 listed as Conservatives, 18 Labour, 13 Plaid Cymru and 39 candidates with no description.
In the Haverfordwest Castle ward there will be a forward fight between Labour’s Tom Tudor and Conservative Sarah Llewellyn, as in 2008, and the two parties also face each other one on one in Milford East with Guy Woodham for Labour and Dan Mills Conservative.
● The deadline for ensuring you are registered to vote is tomorrow, April 18th.
