Lammas Eco village is throwing open its doors to the public again this year. Guided tours of the pioneering community start tomorrow (Saturday).
Tours start at the community hub car park at 11am and last for around two hours.
Every Saturday, visitors will be taken on an in depth visit to two of the smallholdings.
Refreshments will be available in the hub from 1pm where seasonal, land-based produce will also be for sale. Tours cost £4 per adult, with no charge for children under 16.
Sturdy footwear is recommended, as there are areas of rough terrain around the site. Tours will run every Saturday to September 29th.
Lammas is also running a variety of day workshops, and week/ weekend courses.
Topics include low impact living, eco building, basket making and family adventure camp. Details at www.lammas.org.uk.
