Two terrified terriers plunged from the coast path last Thursday, causing Angle lifeboat to launch and coastguard crews to race to the scene.
The pooches plummeted down the cliff between Angle and Sheep Island. Their distressed owner called the coastguard who tasked St Govans coastguard cliff rescue team and Angle’s inshore lifeboat to the scene.
The dogs had fallen right to the bottom of the cliff and were retrieved by the inshore lifeboat and reunited with their owner.
Coastguards are urging dog owners to keep their pets on leads while on the coast path.
