Both Cardigan lifeboats were called out yesterday (Sunday) to reports of a male stranded in a cove near Mwnt.
The man had been cut off by the tide at around 6pm. Coastguards received a call from the Ambulance asking them to task the lifeboats to the incident, Gwbert coastguards were also called to the scene.
The man was recovered by Cardigan’s volunteer crew and taken to an awaiting ambulance. He was checked over by paramedics and released with no complications.
