Public exhibitions displaying RWE npower renewables’ plans for the Atlantic Array offshore wind farm will go on display in Tenby and Pembroke Dock later this month.
The wind farm, which will be around 16km from the south Wales coast at its nearest point, could generate enough energy to meet more than 90% of Wales’ domestic electricity demand.
The exhibition will visit the Fourcroft Hotel in Tenby on September 28th and the Cleddau Bridge Hotel in Pembroke Dock on September 29th, both open from noon to 8pm.
The event will provide local residents with the opportunity to review the project plans and see the results of preliminary environmental and ecological surveys undertaken by the company.
Robert Thornhill, development manager, said: “We want the community to share in the benefits of wind energy and would urge as many people as possible to come along to find out more.”
