As usual Whitland Week starts the week with a concert at Tabernacle Congregational Chapel. As usual much of the programme is provided by the Whitland male Voice Choir under the direction of the conductress Juliet Rossiter with accompanist Hefina Jones. The audience have now come to expect a high standard and popular music and this year they were not disappointed.
The guest artist was a Whitland girl who’s performance was outstanding and took everyone by surprise Liza Jones a metro saprano . Her performance was so outstanding that members of the audience were herd asking why have we not seen her on T.V? However after Sunday evening outstanding performance there is no doubt that we are going to see a lot more of Liza locally and nationally.
