Dear Editor - It seems to me that it would be a lovely idea to have gardens in and around Foley House and the surrounding area, rather than the proposed roads and car parks.
Maybe the garden could link up with the Commerce House site, where nature will soon take over, so perhaps a horticultural guiding hand would be a more alternative option.
Haverfordwest has a delight of tucked away places and some gardens would surely enhance our lovely town and provide a pleasant and alternative route from the bottom of town to the top.
I imagine the properties that surround the area would rather open their windows to fresh air and bird song than car fumes and engines.
Perhaps local schools and training centres would be involved in the rejuvenation and I'm sure local residents and visitors alike would enjoy walking and reading in the green areas.
Ruth Anderson Goat Street, Haverfordwest.
