A Pembroke Dock woman who punched a friend for calling her a bad mother appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates on Thursday.
Stephanie Zimmer, aged 19, of 5 Elm Lane, Llanreath, pleaded guilty to assault and criminal damage in two separate incidents on May 1st.
The court heard that at around 4.30pm Zimmer and a friend had been seen throwing stones at the windows of 19 Sycamore Close, Mount Estate.
Zimmer smashed the baby's bedroom window, causing shards of glass to fall on the bedroom floor and into the cot.
At 6.05pm Zimmer was at Phoenix Bowl and met an old friend who started talking to her.
She told Zimmer that she was worried about her because she had let herself go' and had started to get into trouble.
The court heard Zimmer then lost her temper' and punched the young woman twice in the face.
She told police that her former friend had said she was a bad mother and it was this comment that had provoked her.
Crown prosecutor David Weale said: "She admitted she smashed the window in Sycamore Close, because of a dispute with the tenants. She admits a dispute with her victim. This is obviously how she resolves her disputes, by throwing stones."
The case was adjourned to June 15th for pre-sentence reports.
