EVEN torrential rain could not dampen spirits at the 63rd annual YFC Rally on Saturday.
More than 1,000 people turned up at the County Showground, Withybush, to enjoy the wide array of 70s-themed entertainment and skilfully made crafts.
One of the main events was the crowning of County YFC Queen, Angharad Rees, of Brawdy YFC.
Angharad said: "This is a great honour for myself and my club. I think the number of people here today shows that the YFC is going from strength to strength."
Her attendants were Rachael Lawrence, of Brawdy, Ros Bushell, of Llysyfran, Libby Henderson, of Martletwy and Rachael Hughes, of South Pembs.
The rally was won by Llysyfran YFC after a series of events that ranged from cooking and flower arranging to a tug-of-war competition and craft workshops.
Among the highlights were numerous 70s themed acts covering hits from legendary groups such as Boney M and Fleetwood Mac.
The club exhibits were also impressive with each group striving to create the best snapshot of the 70s in one room.
Organiser Dill Williams, said: "Every year the standard of entries seems to get better and better and the young people involved work very hard to make the day a success."
