Dear Editor - It was with much disappointment that the news of the demolition of the Sir Benfro Hotel was sanctioned, a long standing jewel in the history of Pembrokeshire tourism.
However, to allow the site to remain an eyesore and discredit to what used to be a beautiful award winning village for an extended period, for whatever reason, is totally unacceptable.
I hope common sense returns and arrangements are made to tidy up what currently looks like a war zone.
