MONKTON SWIFTS 7 CAMROSE 0 STEPHEN Davies grabbed five goals in the Swifts' seven goal demolition of poor old Camrose.

This win secures the Swifts' third successive title which will really delight manager Benno Jones and his assistant Steve Maytum.

Earlier in the week, the Swifts were dealt a body blow when they were deducted two league points by the West Wales Football Association as a consequence of Benno and Maytum both getting sent-off in a heated end to a Senior Cup semi-final against Narberth at Carew.

However, the champs to their credit didn't let this delicate matter distract them as they played possibly some of their best football of the campaign, and they deservedly led by four goals at the interval against sorry Camrose.

On-fire Davies secured a hat-trick and his partner in crime Dean Driscoll was in the right place at the right time to net the fourth.

For much of the afternoon the visitors were chasing shadows as the champs' clinical passing and movement proved too hot for Camrose to handle.

After the interval Davies hit the target twice and Driscoll rounded off the scoring with the seventh, and now they have just Tish and Hakin left to play with the title already well and truly in the bag.

The champagne has been put on hold until this coming Saturday, when they will be officially handed the league trophy and the big party celebrations will get into full swing.
