Due to terrible weather the Pembroke Autograss Club had to cancel its first meeting, but the season will finally start this Sunday.
The racetrack near Lamphey has been superbly prepared and is eagerly awaiting the fantastic sounds of the racecars, all out to gain as many national qualifying points as possible.
Already this year one of PACs new junior special drivers Jamie Curle PAC 19 has shown great potential by winning his races up at Severn Valley, near Hereford, a meeting held there back in early March.
In class seven, the regulars of Gary Rees PAC 24 and Anthony Jones PAC 221 will be joined by Darren Jones PAC 46, Mervyn Hesslip PAC 66 and Richard Thomas PAC 62 in a brand new cinquercento powered by twin motorbike engines.
The Pembroke Autograss Club will have a static display of autograss cars, together with information about the sport at Castle Square, Haverfordwest, on Saturday from 9am, so pop along to get a closer look at the racing cars and chat to the various members of the PAC club.
The action will then start the following day at the usual racing venue near Lamphey, just outside Pembroke, on Sunday, at noon.
