Pembrokeshire artist Pauline Le Britton pays homage to her childhood and family in a brilliant and clever exhibition influenced by her formative years.

Unlike pop super group 10CC who saw life as a roller coaster, a fairground carousel is the symbol which represents aspects of Pauline's life.

This carousel, constructed over three days in situ at the Queens Hall Gallery, Narberth, features life-size models of Pauline and her family.

It is a collaboration between the artist and the Pembrokeshire and Derwen NHS Trust assertive outreach team. She supplied the ideas, while clients of the outreach team helped to form them.

The carousel is the centrepiece of a remarkable retrospective influenced by Pauline's childhood memories, growing up in Pembroke Dock, where her father, Tony, ran the Bird in Hand public house.

Although the exhibition has now closed at the Queens Hall, it will be touring and there will be an opportunity for those who missed this treat to view it.
