PEMBROKESHIRES schools will break up for Christmas this year one day earlier than previously announced.
The last day of the autumn term will now be on Thursday, December 20th, and not Friday, December 21st.
The change has been made to accommodate the one-off Bank Holiday on Monday, June 3rd, 2002, to celebrate the Queens Golden Jubilee.
Earlier this year it was agreed that what would have been next years May half-term holiday will now be held a week later during the first full week in June 2002.
Next years Spring Bank Holiday has been moved from the last Monday in May, to Tuesday, June 4th.
