Haverfordwest Jobcentre and its part-time office in Fishguard were recently awarded the Jobcentre of the Month award for Wales.
The nomination had been made by Jocelyn Llewhellin, West Wales district manager, for achievement of targets and providing excellent customer service.
Haverfordwest Jobcentre has been transformed in recent months, by a change of layout to make the office more welcoming, and the arrival of Jobpoints.
The Jobpoints were also successfully installed in Fishguard Jobcentre last week.
The Jobpoints enable customers to access all of the vacancies on the Employment Service website, normally around 250,000 per day.
On receiving the award, manager Carole Wingfield said: I am extremely proud of my staff, and the service we provide at this Jobcentre. This award is the result of their hard work, and the tremendous efforts they have made to help people looking for work.
