Fishguard Police are offering a £500 reward after a Goodwick man was assaulted near his home on Sunday by a man in a balaclava hat demanding money.
Councillor Bryn Colnet, former Mayor of Fishguard and Goodwick, had closed up at The Railwaymens Club, Fishguard, after a bingo evening on Sunday. On reaching his home in Prescelly Crescent, Stop and Call, at 9.45 pm he was approached by a man wearing a balaclava. The man demanded money from Mr Colnet, who refused to hand over any property. The offender is described as white, of stocky build, wearing a dark coloured balaclava with eyelets.
Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is requested to contact Fishguard police station on 01348 873225. The £500 reward will be given after the arrest and conviction of the offender.
