A leaflet has been produced by the Celtic Trail telling cyclists everything they need to know about the 220 mile south Wales cycle way which winds its way from Fishguard to Chepstow.
It details key attractions along the way including Fishguard, Preseli Hills, St Davids, Tenby, and The Dylan Thomas Boathouse at Laugharne. A picture of Tenby is featured on the front (pictured left).
The leaflet also contains a map to help plan routes, identifying traffic-free sections and the more strenuous high-level route for the adventurous cyclist, as well as transport links to South Wales.
Its distribution follows hot on the heels of a cycling breaks campaign just announced to help fightback against the effects on tourism as a result of foot and mouth.
One-hundred-thousand leaflets have been printed for distribution to Sustrans members and with specialist magazines. They detail five different ways to enjoy a cycling break along the trail ranging from 53 to 142 miles.
David Morgan, marketing officer for the Celtic Trail, said: These leaflets have been designed to help cyclists get more enjoyment from the route by making the most of what it offers. Whether you are a keen cyclist, a beginner or a mountain biker, youll find something here to interest you.
