Hallowe'en came early to the Victoria Bookshop, Haverfordwest, on Saturday. There were ghosts, witches, broomsticks, bats and spiders at a book-signing session of Scary Stories - a collection of contemporary ghost stories.
The book is published by Pembroke Dock-based publishing company Accent Press Ltd and is selling for £6.99, with £1 towards Breast Cancer research.
One of its authors is Yvette Fielding, presenter of TV's Most Haunted programme, who launched the book at London Dungeon.
At the signing session at the Victoria Bookshop were two other authors Tina Brown, who flew in from Australia, and Jill Rawlins, whose story is based at Carew Castle. They both dressed as witches while Hazel Cushion, who runs Accent Press Ltd, came as a ghost.
Bookshop owner Marley Davies also entered into the spirit of the occasion and gave out spooky goody bags to the children.
Accent Press Ltd raised thousands of pounds for breast cancer with its publication of Sexy Shorts - a collection of short stories, and is hoping that its Scary Shorts will follow its success.
