The Acid Mothers Temple And The Melting Paradiso UFO, a hugely influential improvisational and avant-garde Japanese collective, will be performing at Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan, on October 31st.
They will be supported by the recently formed local experimental music collective, Zi-Kronic Waves.
Acid Mothers Temple toured the UK to rave reviews 18 months ago, culminating in a stunning show at London's Royal Festival Hall.
They were described at the time as 'incredibly weird, but really rather wonderful, full of unhinged genius'.
This is their only Welsh show and one of only four selected shows that the collective are playing in the UK this year.
The Acid Mothers are legendary leaders of the new psychedelic generation, so you are in for a real treat.
With an earlier start time than normal, doors open at 7pm, don't miss the support band, Zi-Kronic Waves, who describe themselves as 'high concept experimental soundscape artists whose conditional relationships co-exist in their multimedia extravaganza'.
The Zi-Kronic Waves collective are launching their multi-media CD, entitled 15 at the gig. The CD is experimental, but accessible with influences of Can and Gong.
This should be a great Hallowe'en for music infused with psychedelia, krautrock, minimalism and drones.
We have one copy of the Zi-Kronic Waves to give away. To win, name one of the collective's main influences.
Send your answers to the Zi-Kronic Waves competition, Newsroom, Western Telegraph, Old Hakin Road, Merlins Bridge, Haverfordwest, Pembs SA61 1XF.

Closing date for all entries is Wednesday, October 27th.
