FEARS are growing for the safety of a 33-year-old Tenby man, whose car was found near a local beach.
Daniel Murch - who was due to fly to Hong Kong on Monday to visit his girlfriend - was last seen in Tenby on Wednesday.
An extensive air, sea and land search for Mr Murch was the second one mounted in the area within days.
On Monday of last week, a search was launched for 25-year-old James William Nutley, of Caldicot, Gwent, who had come to Tenby for a golfing trip. He was last seen in pubs in Tenby before his belongings, including his driving licence, were found on the South Beach. Police enquiries are still continuing in an attempt to trace the men.
Mr Murch, who had formerly worked as a lifeguard at both Tenby Leisure Centre and Kiln Park, lived at The Clicketts, Tenby.
A relative last saw him in town at around 11am last Wednesday and his car was discovered parked near Waterwynch Beach.
When last seen, he was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a brown/grey jumper and white training shoes. He is 5'9" tall, of a medium stocky build and has short dark brown hair.
Anyone who may have any information on either man is asked to call Tenby police on 01834 842303.
