Blazing Tanker Esso Portsmouth Like The Centre Of Hell.
November 2004: Imagine an LNG disaster of much greater magnitude to the Esso Portsmouth one. Milford's status now rises to prime terrorist target area. Leakage hazards leading to disaster in the Haven, on the land site, in the pipelines buried in the farmers' lands are a very real possibility. Is temporary employment more important than our lives and livelihood?
How have we in Pembrokeshire benefited from the refineries? Most have closed. We need the gas but the LNG plant must not be so close to us.
Contracts cannot be signed for some time. There is time to stop this.
