DEAR EDITOR, - I read with interest, Wendy Borman's letter, Are We Welcome In Your County? (November 3rd).
My wife and I moved to Johnston from Hampshire, nearly four years ago. We should say to Wendy and her husband, there is nothing to fear; the people of Pembrokeshire are absolutely marvellous, friendly, kind, happy people; we have been made most welcome.
Don't think as yourself as 'outsiders' or you will be treated as such, come and join in the community, be part of it and you will have the best retirement you could get anywhere in the UK. We have.
