DEAR EDITOR, - The holiday months are with us again and our beautiful county is still being desecrated by the contents of hundreds of broken-into black bags.
The resulting garbage has been turning our roads and lanes into Third World alleys for years and years. So I wonder if the council can be really serious about attracting holidaymakers when they continue to offer such an untidy and unhygienic system?
Surely it is time that the county, with the most scenic National Park in the British Isles, is provided with up-to-date rubbish collection, instead of this weekly rubbish distribution.
ARCHIE BUCHANAN Tangnefedd, Dinas Cross.
