Pembrokeshire is dotted with an excellent choice of top golf courses. From the north of the county to the south, from spectacular coastal links to inland parkland courses, from old established fairways to newcomers, Pembrokeshire has them all.
Tenby is the oldest golf club in Wales and has an 18-hole championship links course, with wonderful views over the sea and Caldey Island.
At nearby Penally, Trefloyne Park also has an 18-hole course also overlooking the sea and Caldey, and its natural features and woodlands give it a parkland setting.
South Pembrokeshire Golf Club has an 18-hole parkland course which is only five minutes form the Irish Ferries terminal at Pembroke Dock.
On the other side of Milford Haven Waterway is the Milford Haven Golf Club based at Hubberston. This challenging 18-hole course again has magnificent sea views.
Having just celebrated its 100th anniversary last year, Haverfordwest Golf Course, on the A40 just outside the town, is a well established parkland course, and its 18 holes provide a challenge for the golfer.
Set in 40 acres of mature parkland is the nine-hole course at Priskilly Forest, Castlemorris, Letterston.
Britain's smallest city, St Davids, has a nine-hole 18-tee course in a superb location overlooking Whitesands Bay.
And also in the north of the county, Newport has a nine-hole links course overlooking the wide sweep of Newport Sands, although there are plans to extend it to an 18-hole course.
