SUNNY weather complemented the festive atmosphere on Saturday, as the Pembrokeshire Federation of YFCs celebrated the most important day in its calendar - its Rally at the County Showground, Haverfordwest.
Hundreds of people turned out to celebrate the culmination of the organisation's hard work and achievements throughout the year and welcome in Rhiannon Llewellin as new YFC Rally queen.
Currently serving as County Show queen, journalist Rhiannon, aged 24, was also named Pembrokeshire Young Farmer of the Year in the senior category.
She said: "It is a great honour. Today shows what young people are capable of achieving." The theme of the day was the Wild West and a variety of country and western acts, including a perfectly choreographed hoedown, set the mood.
Crowds gathered round the eye-catching displays, which featured totem poles, typical cowboy fare and headdresses.
Mair Evans, Pembrokeshire YFC president, said: "Today is very special to the organisation, all the events and work throughout the year are in preparation for this rally."
The overall winner of the Rally was Llysyfran, and the runners-up, Llawhaden.
