Local author Derek Webb is giving away five copies of his new children’s book Is.
Published by Troll Carnival next month, Is combines mystery and humour in a tale for nine to 12-year-olds.
Isabel Williams is 11 and has an extraordinary knowledge of physics and engineering, even arguing with her teachers about bridge design and the construction of ships.
In fact, she thinks she may be British engineer and architect Isambard Kingdom Brunel reborn.
Is will be launched at Haverfordwest Library on Wednesday, April 7th at 2pm. There will be a dramatised reading of the book, with children from the town, and an opportunity to meet the author.
To be in with a chance of wining a copy of Is just answer this simple question: Brunel's original Great Western Railway terminus in Pembrokeshire was at (a) Fishguard (b) Pembroke Dock (c) Neyland?
Send your answer, name, age, address and contact number to katy.woodhouse@westerntelegraph.co.uk by April 7th. Prizes will be handed out at the launch.
