A chance to hear how climate change is affecting normal people from Narberth to Nairobi will take place at Haverfordwest's Picton Centre tonight (Tuesday).
Oxfam Cymru is holding a Climate Hearing event, enabling the people of Pembrikeshire to voice their concerns and experiences of climate change.
The events offers a unique opportunity to come and your concerns and experiences. By collecting these shared experiences, Oxfam can use these testimonies to put pressure on those in power to effect change at a local, national, and international level.
A range of local and international speakers are attending tonight's event, including Nguyen Quang Minh,Oxfam Livelihoods programme coordinator in Vietnam; Cathryn Al Kanaan from Suzani Associates); Tavi Murray from Swansea University; Gordon James from Friend of the Earth; Planed's Joan Asby, and FairTrade champion Chris Urack.
The event will cover a broad variety of topics including local sustainable development projects, glacier instability, rising sea levels, and sustainable livelihood projects in developing countries.
Members of the public are invited to come along and listen to a wide range of experiences, ask questions and if they wish contribute their own experiences.
Today's Climate Hearing takes place between 7pm and 9pm at the Picton Centre, Haverfordwest.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided, attendance is free and reservations are not required.
