Pembrokeshire people will get to have their say on local policing at County Hall, Haverfordwest, tomorrow (Tuesday).
Dyfed-Powys Police Authority's community consultative meetings will take place in the Pembrokeshire County Council building at 7pm.
The meetings will be attended by local police officers and members of the Police Authority. Everybody is welcome to attend and urged to come along to highlight any concerns and questions.
The authority says it wants public feedback so it can ensure that it secures the best possible policing service for the public.
The meeting will follow on from previous ones that took place in November and December.
It aims to give local residents and partner organisations the opportunity to hear how their local policing division has performed against the priorities that the Police Authority set in 2009/10, following public consultation.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity for the authority to provide an update on the priorities that have been set for next financial year and allow them to explain the budget and precept for 2010/11.
Finally, there will be a question and answer session to allow people to speak to the Police Authority about thier concerns.
Delyth Humfryes, the Chair of the Police Authority said: “The Police Authority is the body which holds the police to account on behalf of our communities. We must ensure that you have an effective and efficient police service that meets your needs.
“In order to represent our communities we need to know what you think. We have arranged meetings in each police division and urge that people attend to give us their views on how Dyfed-Powys Police should operate in the future.”
