A 43-year-old man has been arrested following an alleged assault in St Davids.

Police were called to the car park in the city's New Street at 12.50pm on Sunday, February 14th. They had received a report that an elderly man had allegedly been assaulted there.

Officers established there had been a minor crash involving a car and two bicycles, minor injuries were sustained.

An alleged assault had then taken place and the victim sustained a minor injury.

Police said the 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of common assault and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
