Firefighters from Milford Haven spent 47 minutes battling a cabin fire at South Hook LNG yesterday (Thursday).
One pump from Milford Haven was called to the blaze in a contractors' cabin at 5.43 yesterday afternoon. They found the cabin well-alight.
They used one hose reel jet and two sets of breathing apparatus to deal with the fire. Giving the all clear at 6.30pm.
A spokesman for South Hook LNG said:
“ We can confirm that around 6 pm on Thursday 18th Feb, a small vacant toilet block cabin fire was immediately extinguished safely and effectively at the South Hook site.
"A full investigation into the cause of this small fire is now underway.”
