A 20-year-old Neath man has died following a crash on the A4139 at Penally yesterday (Wednesday).
Police are investigating the fatal crash, that happened at around 3.15pm.
A blue Peugeot 106 was travelling towards Tenby, when it appears to have lost control and collided with a stationary vehicle parked at the roadside.
As a result, a 20-year-old man from the Neath area, believed to be the passenger, received fatal injuries. His next of kin have been informed.
The driver of the Peugeot was airlifted to the Heath hospital, where he is described as being in a serious, but stable condition.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, in particular any sightings of the Peugeot vehicle travelling in the area prior to the collision.
Anybody with any information is urged to contact PC Justin Williams at Pembrokeshire roads policing unit, Haverfordwest, on 101.
