A teenager has been charged with grievous bodily harm, following an assault on Castle Square in the early hours of Valentine's Day.
The assault, which happened at 2.55am outside the Principality, left the 33-year-old victim with severe head injuries. He remains in Withybush Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A19-year-old man has been arrested and charged with GBH and will appear at Haverfordwest magistrates court on March 9th.
Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident is urged to contact Haverfordwest police station on 101.
