Police are today (Monday) advising people to lock up valuable possessions, after hundreds of pounds worth of goods were stolen from a property in the Sardis area.

Between 8pm and 9pm last Tuesday, February 9th, thieves entered a private house on the Pembroke Road between Haverfordwest and Burton.

They removed a large, ornate, SA Dragon log burner from outside the property. They then entered a garage, and removed a Stihl MS 170 chainsaw with a 14 inch blade and 1.3 chain and five large car batteries.

All five batteries are for diesel vehicles, one was made by Varta and two by Halfords.

Police are urging members of the public to store valuable property in secure premises and to always lock outbuildings. People are also asked to keep an eye out for suspicious people and vehicles and report them to the police.

Anyone with any information on the theft, or anyone who has been offered the stolen items to buy, should contact PC 190 Rourke at Milford Haven police station on 101.
