Three Pembrokeshire men appeared in court today (Monday) to admit their roles in a burglary at a house in Neyland.
Kenneth Richards-Mathias, aged 26, of Tenby Court, Monkton, and 23-year-old Stephen James Rees, of College Park, Neyland, admitted breaking into the house in Leonardston Road on April 16th last year.
Richards-Mathias entered his plea on the basis that he only stole two bottles of beer from a fridge.
But the prosecution said the basis was not acceptable, as the burglars had got away with two lap top computers, computer games, a bicycle, a birth certificate and clothing.
Luc Grice, aged 20, of Promenade Drive, Neyland, admitted handling goods stolen from the property, but only a single bottle of beer.
Rees was immediately remanded into custody after Judge Huw Davies, sitting at Swansea crown court, heard that his guilty plea made him in breach of a suspended prison sentence, imposed for earlier offending Judge Davies adjourned sentencing until early March. He said the sentencing judge would determine the extent of Richards-Mathias' involvement in the break in.
Richards-Mathias and Grice were granted bail until then.
