A man is in a serious but stable condition in Withybush Hospital, after sustaining severe head injuries in an assault in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday) morning.
The assault happened at around 2.55am on Valentine's Day outside the Principality in Castle Square, Haverfordwest.
At around 3.05am police and paramedics were called to the area. They found 33-year-old man with serious head injuries at the scene. He was taken to Withybush Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
A-19-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody at present.
Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for anyone with any information relating to this incident, or anyone who witnessed it, to contact Haverfordwest police station on 101.
