Staff at Haverfordwest’s Adams store face an uncertain wait as administrators try to find a buyer for the ailing childrenswear chain.
Eight people work at the Haverfordwest branch, which has faced administration fears three times in as many years.
Restructuring firms MCR and Gerald Edelman were appointed as joint administrators to parent company JS Childrenswear at the end of last month.
MCR partner Paul Clark, said: “We are already seeing significant interest in the business and assets of the company with a number of interested parties having already come forward.
“Like many retailers, Adams has experienced a difficulty trading environment during the past 12 months which has been exacerbated by a further downturn and general tightening of the credit market.”
He added that the company was still trading while a buyer was sought.
