Dear Editor
On Tuesday, January 19th, I started to excercise my dog on waste ground at Llanion, Pembroke Dock, when I slipped and fell down a small bank.
I broke my ankle and was stuck on the cold, wet ground. I waved and shouted to a passing car and a woman saw me and came to my aid.
This kind lady then phoned for an ambulance, sorted out my dog and car and let me use her phone.
She stayed with me until I was safely in the ambulance. I unfortunately did not get her name but would like to thank her, the paramedic and ambuancemen who all helped me in my hour of need.
