Pembrokeshire's stunning coastline featured in BBC2's Iolo's Wild Times last night (Tuesday) In the series Iolo explores some of the places that have featured in his fifteen years of filming and returns to se how they are coping in an ever changing world.
Last night's programme featured a dolphin spotting trip with Goodwick based Cetecan spotting charity, Sea Trust and a trip to see the gannet colonies on Pembrokeshire's Grassholm island.
Iolo chatted to Sea Trust's Cliff Benson as the survey boat became surrounded by a school of adult and juvenile common dolphins.
Iolo said that sightings of dolphins had increased greatly over recent years but it was not yet clear if the number of actual dolphins had increased or just if survey boats were spotting more of them.
The programme also featured a visit to Grassholm and a shark spotting trip off the Pembrokeshire coast.
The programme is still available to view on the BBC's iplayer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00qmxq2/Iolos_Wild_Times_Episode_1/
