A drunk man was plucked from the rocks by Tenby lifeboat in the early hours of Saturday morning, after going swimming in a snow storm.
Tenby inshore lifeboat (ILB) and Tenby coastguard rescue team were tasked to the incident, following a call from Dyfed-Powys Police requesting coastguard assistance at 02:40am on Saturday.
The ILB launched in snowy conditions and choppy seas. The crew soon spotted a man sprawled on the rocks near Parragon.
Lifeboat crew members said that the 28-year-old had gone swimming in his clothes while drunk and then dragged himself out of the sea and collapsed.
He was treated for hypothermia at the scene and then conveyed to awaiting paramedics on Castle Beach.
He was attended to by ambulance crews, and then taken into police custody.
