It should be third time lucky for supermarket giant Tesco today (Monday), as its new Express store opens in Tenby's Tudor Square.
The hold-up of work by bad weather has led to the official opening of the Tesco Express shop being changed twice in recent weeks.
The store - in the former Woolworths building in Tudor Square – was due to open its doors on January 19th this was postponed until the 26th.
However, wild winter weather caused the date to be changed again to today, Monday, February 1st.
The store opened for business at 8am. The official opening ceremony will take place at 10.30am, when there will be a donation of £500 made to the RNLI.
Representatives from the charity will be the guests of honour at the event, and will be invited to cut the ribbon to declare the store open.
A Tesco spokesperson said: "We would like to apologise for the delay in the store oepning and to thank everyone for their patience. We hope that no inconvenience has been caused."
The new store will be open from 6am to 11pm, seven days a week.
