The members of the Rotary Club of Milford Haven are grateful two the people of the locality for the generous support they gave to the appeal to augment the humanitarian aid in the form of Shelter Boxes for Haiti. The collection, made outside the Tesco Store in Milford over Saturday and Sunday of last week, generated some £1051 which will enable the Club to send three boxes to an area where they are much needed. This means that shelter, warmth, sleeping and sanitary arrangements can be provided for a number of families.
Thanks also go to the manager of the store for allowing the collection to go ahead with such short notice.
