Four parliamentary candidates will come under the environmental spotlight this evening (Friday) when they face the audience in a Question Time event organised by a Pembrokeshire energy group.
The quartet from the Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire constituency — sitting MP Nick Ainger (Labour); John Dixon (Plaid); John Gossage (Lib-Dem) and Simon Hart (Conservative) — will be at the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot, at 7.30pm.
The event has been organised by the Pembrokeshire South East Energy group, and will be based on the Radio Four Any Questions programme. The panellists will be quizzed on energy supply and conservation, global warming and climate change.
The questions will be chosen by Joan Asby, former head of Planed; Jo Horsley from Environment Wales and Marc Mordey of the Environment Network for Pembrokeshire.
The chairman for the event will be Andy Middleton, the founder director of the TYF Group.
A spokesman said: "Interest in the event has been expressed in many areas of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.
"With the imminence of the general election, it will be fascinating to hear how the policies of the major parties measure up to the challenges ahead."
Entry to the evening is free but by ticket only. These are available by calling 01834 813839.
