Dyfed-Powys Police has launched its first website dedicated to young people, aimed at providing information and advice on issues that affect them most.
www.xray99.co.uk is aimed at young people aged between 11 and 16.
It features three characters named Vic, India and Charlie — letters in the phonetic alphabet used by the emergency services.
The website, which is named after the call sign for the police helicopter, was developed with help from young people throughout the force area.
Assistant Chief Constable Nick Ingram said: “It was important for us to listen to their views right from the start.
“We made some pretty big changes to the characters from the comments they made.”
He added: “The site contains help and advice, as well as information about what the police do in Dyfed-Powys and how to get in touch with us for further help and advice.”
The new website for young people is being widely promoted through police schools’ liaison officers and the local neighbourhood policing teams.
