The Met Office has downgraded Pembrokeshire's risk of heavy snow today (Tuesday).
Previous forecasts predicted a 60% risk of heavy snow causing disruption in the county.
However a revised forecast, issued just after 11am today said that there was now a moderate risk of severe weather affecting parts of southwest Wales today.
Rain is forecast to turn to snow above around 200 metres, with accumulations of 10 to 15cm possible.
The Met Office also said strong southeasterly winds are also likely lead to drifting or blowing snow over the hills.
Pembrokeshire also has a moderate risk of heavy snow tomorrow (Wednesday).
Rain, turning to snow above around 200 metres is forecast to continue overnight, before easing and clearing northeast during the morning.
This may lead to accumulations of 10 to 15cm of snow over the hills and strong southeasterly winds are also likely lead to drifting or blowing snow over the hills.
The county is now on yellow alert, meaning that there is a 40% to 60% risk of severe weather.
The public is urged to be aware of the situation and keep abreast of the latest weather forecasts.
