The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for Pembrokeshire today (Tuesday).
They said that there is a high risk of a severe weather event affecting parts of South Wales, with a 60% certainty that Pembrokeshire will experience some disruption.
A band of heavy snow is forecast to move slowly northeast during this afternoon before turning to rain this evening.
Accumulations of between 5cms and 10cms are expected widely, with 10cms to 20cms possible locally, and a low risk of up to 30cm over higher ground.
The strengthening southeasterly wind is also likely to lead to drifting of snow.
The Met Office said that this could cause disruption to travel networks and lead to problems with power lines.
Members of the public are advised to be prepared for the risk of severe weather and check with Traffic Wales for road conditions.
