Due to the prolonged adverse weather conditions Pembrokeshire County Council will not be responding to public requests for road and pavement treatment.
The council said today (Friday) thar it will continue to treat main roads as a priority and attempt to preserve stock for the primary road network.
It will, however, respond to requests from the emergency services to grit both roads and pavements.
The council also said drivers should drive "according to the road conditions" and not assume that roads are salted.
This news comes two days after Brian Maddocks, head of maintenance, said that only three days worth of grit was left, although the council was receiving daily supplies.
The council said its Emergency Management team is continuing to co-ordinate multi-agency meetings to discuss the response to the weather conditions.
