As the cold snap continues to keep Pembrokeshire in its grip, Pembrokeshire County Council has confirmed that the following schools will be closed today (Friday).

- Brynconin CLOSED
- Cilgerran CLOSED
- Greenhill CLOSED Closed to pupils
- Llanychllwydog CLOSED
- Maenclochog CLOSED
- Puncheston CLOSED
- St Dogmaels CLOSED Due to icy roads
- Stackpole CLOSED Due to untreated roads
- Ysgol Clydau CLOSED
- Ysgol Dewi Sant CLOSED
- Ysgol y Frenni CLOSED
- Ysgol y Preseli CLOSED
The County Orchestra and Wind Band rehearsals that were due to be held at Sir Thomas Picton School after school on Friday 8th January have been cancelled. The next rehearsals are due to be on Friday January 15th.
All learning disability day centres together with all older persons day centres will be closed tomorrow.
There will be no refuse collections, bin men are instead being redeployed to assist maintenance workers with clearing and gritting access roads and pavements.
Householders are advised to take in their refuse sacks and store them until further notice. Pembrokeshire's civic amenity sites are all open, and gritted, and are available to receive black bags (but not orange bags).
Haverfordwest Farmers Market, due to be held tomorrow, has been cancelled.
